Teegres The Toyger

Pet photography is something that I LOVE!!  Like small children, you just don't know what your going to get! Like children, the best thing to do...is just let them be. Follow them, and they wont let you down!

I have a home studio,and I will be playing around with "Studio Style" pet photography in the near future, but I think for the most part, most homeowners enjoy capturing their precious balls of fur in their own home... what better way to document these beloved gifts from God? These types of sessions make a great coffee table book. If you do pics over  the course of the pets first two years, you can have a SUPER COOL book on your pets growing progress.

  

I wanted to share a few pictures from a recent "Pet Life Style" Session I had.  This is the lovely Teegres.  She is from a rare cat breed, Toyger.  For you cat lovers...here are a few links to this breed.

She is only 17 weeks, and I cant wait to photograph her again, as she gets older.../ahem/...calmer! :-)

This Domestic Goddess will look FAB sprawled out on a sofa  being all royal & high and mighty.

Oh...and PS....This HOME....Oh Meeee!!! The coolest home EVER!!! Nice backdrops for pictures...don't you agree??

Looking Back On 2012

Im really sorry - but I am booked solid for the Holiday's this year! If you would like to be put on a cancellation list, please shoot me an email at celia.ridley@gmail.com.

 Due to the fact that I have a very busy personal life for the remainder of 2012, I thought I better let everyone know that I will have a very limited Fall shooting schedule this year! 

I will not be doing any sessions in December at all. So if you are interested in doing a Christmas card session, or just Fall family pics in general...give me a shout and lets get it on the books Pronto!

My Fall 2012 open dates are:

Friday, Oct. 5 - 
Saturday, Oct. 6 - Afternoon
Sunday, Oct. 7 - Morning or Afternoon
Sunday, Nov. 4 - Morning or Afternoon
Saturday, Nov. 10 - Morning or Afternoon
I'm not sure about Thanksgiving weekend at this time.

....and that's it!!! However, if you can do an afternoon during the week, let me know! Wednesdays are usually good for me!

My senior sessions will begin in February, 2013! 

Melanie & Trey

I've known Melanie for many years, but only got to meet her fiance Trey, the day of the shoot. I was so excited to meet the man who captured Melanie's heart! He is SOOOOO sweet and easy on the eyes!! Together they are an amazing couple!!

Melanie is Co-Owner/Head Trainer of East Texas Adventure Boot Camp!  I am fearful of this because if she doesn't like this blog, my life will be ...you know what....come Monday morning at 5:15am.  Eeeek!!!!
Anyway....back to the blog.....

We had been having a week of crazy weather in Tyler, so the day of the shoot, we texted back and forth ALL day...."Is it going to rain? The sun came out! Dang, its soooo windy!!!" But in the end....we decided to go for it, and I'm so glad we did! THEY laughed, they cried....oh wait, that was me crying because I didn't get my sunset shot - they kissed....A LOT, and laughed some more....they tossed apples, and climbed fences.
