It all started.....

I started out in May 2006 entering photo-manipulation contests. This is how I learned the powerful tool of photoshop!!

I wont bore you with my horrible entries.....but one thing leads to another and in May of 2007 I ventured over to the photography section and entered my first photo contest with this image for a contest for Windows. I called it Neglected...and it placed a respectable 2 out of 7 entries. Wow! I was on a role!

Three years of entries and countless critiques later, I am still

entering contests on Worth - and love, love, love it!! I have met

the nicest people, and have formed several bonding "virtual

friendships" that I truly feel will last a lifetime.

My latest entry (June 2010) got me my highest score EVER.

It was for a bonus contest "Magazine Ad". Lucky for me

I had recently shot a senior session with the fabulous Sarah Leonard, and so I turned this absolute favorite of mine into my ad. I am currently waiting on Gap to contact me about purchasing it.... waiting, waiting, waiting.....

Update July 20 - Oh come on Gap!! I just got my bill....seriously? Could I interest you in a trade off?
